Terms of Service
Effective October 1, 2026
These terms apply to your use of armstats.com ("armstats", "we"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use armstats.
1. Who can use armstats
You must be at least 13 to create an account, or 16 in the EU and UK. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
2. Your account
- Give a real email address you can access, and keep your password secret.
- One account per person. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Display names and clan names must not impersonate anyone or be offensive. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule.
3. Logging lifts
- Only log lifts you performed yourself, with accurate weights, following the "Reasonable Lifter" standard shown on the Log a Lift page.
- You have one current lift per exercise and arm. Logging a new one replaces and deletes your previous lift for that exercise and arm.
- Each exercise can be logged once every 24 hours per arm. Don't try to get around this or any other limit.
- We may flag, edit or remove any lift, and suspend or close accounts, to keep the rankings honest, for example for impossible lifts, fake entries or repeated abuse.
4. Your content
You own the lifts, notes, body stats, display name and clan names you submit. You give armstats a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, display and rank that content publicly as part of the site, including on leaderboards, clan pages and your public profile. The license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies kept briefly in backups or logs. Only post content you have the right to share.
5. Copyright and takedown requests
If you believe something on armstats infringes your copyright or other rights, email hello@armstats.com with: what the content is and where it appears (a link), what you own and why it infringes, your contact details, and a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for them. We'll review it and remove content that infringes. We may close the accounts of people who repeatedly post infringing content.
6. Acceptable use
Don't:
- attack, overload or probe the site, or try to access other people's data;
- get around the sign-up check, lift limits or access rules;
- create accounts or submit lifts with bots or scripts;
- harass other lifters or post hateful, explicit or illegal content;
- bulk-copy leaderboards or other data without our written permission.
7. Rankings are estimates
Percentiles, ranks and standards are statistical estimates for information and motivation. Some are based on estimated data, as explained on the Methodology page. They are not official records or rankings of any federation, and we don't guarantee their accuracy.
8. Training and health
Armwrestling and strength training carry a real risk of injury, especially maximum-effort attempts. armstats gives no medical or training advice; the "How it's done" descriptions and videos show the form the rankings expect, not a training program. Warm up, train within your limits, use proper technique and safe equipment, and see a qualified professional if you're unsure. You train and lift at your own risk.
9. The service
armstats is free. We may change, pause or discontinue any part of it at any time. We provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Our posting tool uses YouTube API Services. Anyone whose YouTube channel it connects to agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, armstats is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site, including training injuries or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can't be limited.
11. Your responsibility for your content
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover armstats for claims, losses and reasonable costs that arise from content you post or from your breaking these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, except where the law of the place you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts.
13. Ending your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@armstats.com from your account's address. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-up users by email or on the site. Continuing to use armstats after a change means you accept the updated terms.
